Cactus has extensive experience of working with charities that support some of the world's most vulnerable communities. Our courses prepare people relocating to developing nations to hone their language capabilities and cultural awareness, offering training in languages such Portuguese and French with African dialects.
We have been the preferred language training supplier to the International/HIV AIDS Alliance, the world's largest HIV charity, since 2002. Alliance staff have been taught Spanish, Portuguese and French to assist them in their work helping to combat the disease in far-flung corners of the world.
In 2008, Cactus also became supplier to the British Red Cross and the International Red Crescent. We developed special group Arabic training programmes delivered on-site, as well as full immersion English programmes for senior members of the Red Crescent.
