Where in the UK can I celebrate the Chinese New Year?
Friday, 5th February 2010

Chinese New Year is one of the most colourful and vibrant events of the year, and with Chinese communities in so many big cities there’s plenty of scope to join in with the celebrations.
Included in the festivities are parties, parades, dancing and some amazing firework displays. Experiencing the New Year celebrations is a great way to learn about Chinese culture and traditions, and, of course, to practise the language if you speak any!
There are events taking place in Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Southampton, Plymouth and Brighton – more details are available on the Enjoy England website.
