Looking for a long-term English course in the UK?
Monday, 7th September 2009
If you’re living and working in the UK and need a way to progress your English learning, why not take a long-term, part-time course.
There are lots of courses available around Britain, where you can study part-time (for about 15 hours per week) over 24, 36, or 48 weeks. If you would like, you can also use these lessons to study towards an IELTS or Cambridge Proficiency qualification.
You can begin these courses at any time of year, although many people choose to start in either September or January, to coincide with new school years or semesters.
The great thing about these courses is that they offer a timetable that is suitable for anyone with a job, but will enable you to make steady progress with your English, and probably also meet some new friends and acquaintances too.
Long-term courses in English are currently available in a number of UK destinations, including: Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge, Edinburgh, London, Manchester and Oxford. Here is a selection of some of the courses offering larger classes, and as a result, more affordable prices:
London Fulham: £2009 48 weeks
London Piccadilly: £1519 24 weeks / £2049 36 weeks / £2319 48 weeks
Brighton Clock Tower:£1599 24 weeks / £2319 36 weeks / £2649 48 weeks
Manchester: £3159 24 weeks / £4609 36 weeks / £5979 48 weeks
