English course feedback: IELTS in Nottingham
Friday, 27th November 2009

Cactus client Petr Shinkarenko tells us about his IELTS course in Nottingham.
Last year I passed the IELTS test in Russia but was not satisfied with the results. That’s why I sought to find an intensive short-term English language course abroad in order to dramatically improve my skills. I considered courses in the UK only. An option suggested by Cactus fitted my requirements in the best way – a 2-week IELTS preparation course in Nottingham, an English language environment with an attractive price.
One of the crucial issues for Russians travelling abroad is getting a visa. To Cactus’ credit, I promptly got all documents required for the visa process.
The school where I studied is the well-known English language centre. Real international diversity, friendly highly professional staff, interesting topics and miscellaneous tasks are core features of the school. In my class there were ten people from Lebanon, Czech Republic, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Columbia, Germany and South Korea. We often met after our classes to talk and visit different places in hospitable Nottingham. Some of my classmates became friends of mine.
Two weeks in Nottingham flew by like one minute. I really enjoyed the course provided by Cactus, and remember that time like as of the most memorable periods of my life.
By the way, I passed the IELTS test with a higher grade and am now studying at Cranfield University!
