Evening course destinations- Liverpool

Cactus has been offering a range of evening language classes in the fantastic city of Liverpool since October 2008.
It seemed very fitting, given the city’s 2008 title of ‘European City of Culture’, that Liverpool should be added to the list of foreign language evening course locations, although we had long wanted to offer courses there.
Although Liverpool has always had a very unique personality, it was traditionally a very industrial city that was generally deemed to lack glamour and sophistication. Over the last decade or so though, it has transformed itself into a multicultural, vibrant and fashionable city, and whilst Liverpudlians (or Scousers as they are more commonly known) have long waxed lyrical about the virtues of their home town, it is now a popular choice for relocation, especially amongst students and young professionals.
That said, Liverpool has never lost sight of its working class roots, and as such still embraces the things that have always been close to its heart –in particular, football. Home to two of the UK’s premier football teams, Everton and Liverpool FC, it is a city that is massively passionate about the sport. Just as the teams and the number of international players that feature in them have changed, so has the make-up of the city itself. Liverpool is now a very popular destination for foreign visitors, students and immigrants, and as such now boasts a truly cosmpolitan atmosphere.
Cactus offers evening courses in Liverpool in French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish, from beginners level to elementary.
