Cactus Teacher Recruitment Day - 18th September 2010
Friday, 3rd September 2010

Find out what it means to be a Cactus teacher and how you can teach languages for us!
Every academic year, before our largest intake of classes kicks off in October, we arrange a Recruitment Day in central London. This is a day when teachers interested in teaching one of our 24 languages can come along and meet our Director of Studies and our Operations Manager, to get a taste of what working as a freelance teacher with Cactus is all about.
Teachers learn about our company - we started 10 years ago and have been sending language students on Study Abroad programmes since then - and about our language courses in the UK. We have been teaching modern languages for 5 years through our part time evening courses, short intensive courses and tailor-made courses, in partnership with some really excellent language schools whose schools and classrooms we use.
For all these classes - around 3,000 students come to Cactus for their language training each term (that’s around 12,000 a year!) - we need a lot of very good teachers.
If you are a trained, experienced language teacher, with a communicative and fun-but-thorough approach to teaching, and you are looking for part-time teaching work for evening courses, week-long intensives, Saturdays and/or business training, please come along and meet our Director of Studies Rod Mitchell, and our Operations Manager Leticia Gracia.
When: Saturday 18th September 2010
Where: 154 Southampton Row, London WC1 B5JX
Presentations “Introduction to Cactus” will be held at 11am and at 2pm.
We look forward to meeting you!
Please contact us if you have any questions about our recruitment day or about becoming a teacher for Cactus.

I recently met one of your students down in Central Mexico. She had nothing but wonderful things to say about your instruction and methods. I look forward to checking you guys out next time I come across the pond.
