Cactus at the London Language Show

The Language Show is a great event for anyone with a love for languages - new learners, teachers and linguists. Cactus will be there, on Stand 165, offering you all the help and advice you need, whether you're interested in learning or teaching languages.
Cactus will be celebrating 10 memorable years of business at this year’s show. We’ll be offering anyone visiting our stand the chance to win some excellent prizes, including one of 50 language courses across London and the UK, and one of three teacher development courses. There’ll also be some exclusive show offers, such as a week’s Spanish course in Malaga for the fantastic price of £299.
This year Cactus has also been involved in the official show programme with a number of educational events including a seminar and programme of language classes:

Calling all budding linguists who are keen to watch the pennies! Cactus Director of Studies Rod Mitchell looks at ways you can enhance your language learning for L£ss. From interactive online tools and sourcing a language exchange partner, to immersing yourself in your chosen language and culture right here in the UK.
Language Taster Classes:
Learn the basics with our FREE half hour beginners session, taught by experienced Cactus teachers.

*Admission to the Taster Classes is FREE of charge, but you will need a ticket due to limited seating. Tickets can be obtained on a first come, first served basis at the Language Classes Ticket Desk at the show entrance.

Intensive Classes - Lanugage Plus:
Get a day’s full immersion with our intensive language classes for beginners* and intermediate** learners. Each class has a morning and an afternoon session run by an experienced Cactus teacher in a fun and interactive class, so you walk away with the most progress possible at the end of the day. Last year all classes sold out so book early to avoid disappointment.

*Beginner - You have no knowledge of the language whatsoever.
**Intermediate - You can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. You can deal with most language situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You can produce simple connected speech on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. You can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for projects or ideas.
