Custom Language Course - What’s That?
Posted by Sarah under Cactus Tailormade, Language Courses New York, Learning a language
Sedrick Myrtil, Cactus Worldwide Intern in the US, tells us why customized language training is so important
There’s been an increase in the quantity of foreign relations in English-speaking businesses, which means that there is a huge need for customized language training. And yes, even in this struggling American economy there are still business relations that exist.
These language training programs are very specific to what you would like to be proficient in. For example, the Beijing Olympics are coming up. Let’s say an American company that is sponsoring this big event wants to send a representative there to foster relations. That representative can take a course tailored to his/her needs and gain a business level in the language needed to accomplish his/her goal.
I for one think that this is very important, especially here in the United States. Many companies are trying to expand internationally, but how can you do that efficiently and effectively without being familiar with the language and culture of the destination in which you’re trying to expand? Not every country is receptive and familiar with the “American” style of doing things.
The Cactus Language Training program here at Cactus offers the tailor-made tools that businesses need in order to be successful in their intercultural ventures. Many corporations have taken the course and see it as fullfilling and rewarding, not only for the business, but also for themselves.
