The Key to Getting Public Sector Business?

Advertising opportunities in public sector directories, journals and the like are abundant...and sold continually via telesales! Do they really work?
HR & training Journal as part of the http://www.publicservice.co.uk public service portal is an interesting quango – if that is the right term.Each year I am contacted by at least one organisation like this who clearly still fully believe in the telesales technique of getting your business….and this year I have just had my first call from a determined female trying to sell space as the ‘ONLY foreign language training provider’ in their latest publication. Do these organisations actually give a return on their investment? Will that £3995 really pay off? Are their organisations that really have a person who spends this amount of money off the hoof, over the phone, having been called randomly by someone researching providers via Google. As a capitalist (with a heart!) working for a private SME company, possibly the idea of paying to be the only provider to be ‘suggested’ to a ‘key decision maker’ in a ‘risk averse sector’ – her words not mine regarding the public sector – should be an attractive prospect. Possibly the price is just too high and that gets my goat or possibly I just don’t like the concept of buying business as opposed to competing for it in the market…either way, I would really like to know – do these types of investments in public sector directories / journals / portals etc. really result in public sector business??

Before doing investment in anything, there must be deep knowledge & we must know the details of company or unit where we are going to invest. Some are only fraud. So, if you are getting serious towards it, just check the profile & are they really authentic & reliable source of investment from where you will really receive positive outcome.
