Cactus vs. The Zutons at Glastonbury?

Germaine Broadbent, Director of Sales, ponders whether we could take Cactus to Glastonbury
Just back from Glastonbury, feet aching, 4 nights of mayhem, feeling a bit floaty generally and getting back into the world of language learning at Cactus.
My three heroes for Glastonbury have to be: 1) the lead singer of the Zutons, all long hair blowing in the wind, beard, blue eyes and gravely voice…I love the Jesus rock look; 2) the main guy in flowing white robes, singing and banging his drum, getting the whole place rockin’ at the Hari Krishna tent on Saturday night from about midnight till 2am – again the handsome man with the following in the centre of it all does it for me…and 3) my bloke, who has a bit of a following himself – met some of his old friends who I haven’t met before...‘you’re Bryan’s mrs?! I remember Bryan in Glastonbury three years ago blah blah’…followed by a long Glastonbury tale of debauchery…
I was quite proud to have managed to see quite a few bands this year, as well as losing track of time…Big time!
Could Cactus do some sort of language learning there? Impromptu lessons in the green field around a Cactus Flag? A Cactus stand selling cider in Spanish? Cactus giving free language lessons to children in the Kidz Field? A Cactus stall selling language learning products and giving out free cups of water – self study, some courses abroad, some courses in the UK, foreign literature, TEFL info etc. - all with big discounts. Manned by Cactus teachers – Cactus takes language learning to the people!
Anyway…back down to earth…
My conclusion… I love music festivals and they love me too!!…ha ha…Rock on, Baby x
