• are often travelling themselves since they can be reached by telephone in any destination;
• are in remote locations where a face-to-face class would not be economically viable;
• can only spare 30 minutes per day to study.

Practicalities:

• At the start of a training cycle, we will send you a series of documents to enable your trainer to get to know you better, including a list of everyday and professional situations where you can select your priorities, a grammar test and a self-assessment paper.

• At the end of each lesson and depending on your own availability, you fix the date and time of your next lesson. It is easy to find time for 30-minute lessons even with a very full diary.

• The trainer calls you on your number at no cost to you (see below for details). You may receive the call to your mobile (subject to a price surcharge) but this is not recommended due to a lack of sound quality.

• Special equipment needed - just a telephone (landline) in a quiet place, and access to e-mail (for follow-up and homework material).

• Course materials - all materials are organised by us and posted to you in advance of the course.

• Cancellation - if you advise your trainer by phone at least 24 hours beforehand, you will not forfeit your lesson. It will be rescheduled at your convenience. Only lessons which have effectively been taken are invoiced.

Are These Courses Suitable For Complete Beginners?

All trainers are trained to teach Complete Beginners and, where necessary, explanations are given in the trainee's mother tongue (or English) to help them get started. However, we personally feel that the best start for a Complete Beginner is an Intensive Course in the country where the language is spoken - at least for one week. Do I Have To Pay For The Price Of The Call?

No, this is included in the price of your course for the most common countries: all countries within the EU, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, US.

Do I Receive A Certificate Or Report At The End Of My Course?

You do not receive an actual certificate (although this can be arranged for large bookings) but you will receive an end-of-course report and end-of-course register free of charge. Please contact us if you need more information about these.
